PROMPT: The Director of Communications role relies on a team-oriented management approach, a solid understanding of current communications tools and resources, and a strategic mindset, often on a tight schedule. In your cover letter, please provide examples from your past work that demonstrate your ability to lead communications initiatives; your understanding of communications tools and platforms; development and implementation of communications strategies; and your leadership style.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $7,500 to $9,167 a month. This position is a member of the Management Personnel Plan and serves at the pleasure of the President. This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
